Bam is the Blacksmiths
Association of Missouri, a chapter of ABANA
The
Artist Blacksmith's Association of North America It was organized in 1984
by Bob Patrick and a small group of people who were interested in learning
this
ancient craft. Since then the group has grown to nearly 400 members in Missouri
and other states.
We meet at a member's
shop every other month to share ideas and demonstrate new techniques
at the forge. One of the highlights at every meeting is the trade
item. The host will pick an item, say kitchen utensils, and everyone
makes their own version of the concept. If you make one , you get
to take someone else's home.

strange vegetable is so great. The Dorton Arena on the North Carolina
